WHAT TO EXPECT

Mobile hair salons are a little different to regular salons, but you can expect a lot of things to be the same! Here’s what to expect:

Collection of hair styling tools including a hairbrush, hairdryer, spray bottle, scissors, clippers, combs, and a spray bottle.

Step 1: Let’s Connect

Before your first appointment, I’ll do a quick consultation by phone, email, or text. We’ll talk through what you’re looking for, any allergies, mobility concerns, and whether you’ll be booking on behalf of someone else.

Step 2: Appointment Day

Appointments usually take 30 minutes to an hour. I’ll adjust everything around your comfort and mobility—no stress or pressure. Whether you’re in a bed, wheelchair, or chair of your choosing, I’ll work with what’s available and make the experience as comfortable as possible.

Step 3: Payment & Follow-Up

I prefer payment before the appointment. If I’m working with a family member or caregiver, I can send an invoice. I accept cash, Venmo, checks, and I’m setting up credit card payments via Square.

A Word on Trust and Care:

I carry liability insurance and follow safety and hygiene best practices. If your loved one is in memory care or unable to communicate well, I take great care to be gentle, respectful, and accommodating.

I’m currently partnering with Vista River Hospice and Tenderly Hospice and have experience working in both private homes and care settings.

Testimonials will be added soon as I grow my business. In the meantime, you can trust that I show up with kindness, professionalism, and heart.

GOOD TO KNOW!

  • No! I bring all tools, towels, and supplies. Clients or caregivers don’t need to provide anything except a comfortable space to work in. If color is requested, a sink or wash station will be coordinated in advance.

  • Pricing is a flat and inclusive $85/hour. There are no extra fees based on gender. If you’re receiving multiple services (like a haircut and beard trim), I’ll price it accordingly and fairly.

  • I’m based in Portland and serve:

    • Beaverton

    • Hillsboro

    • Forest Grove

    • McMinnville

    • Salem

I’m also contracted with Kaiser McMinnville and Salem, so I’m often out that way. If you’re further out, I may charge a travel fee of $0.70/mile.

  • If you’re located outside the Portland metro area, I charge $0.70 per mile.

    • Cash

    • Venmo

    • Check

    • Credit Card (coming soon via Square)

  • Prepaid options and gift certificates are available. These are great for families booking care in advance. I can also invoice through QuickBooks.

  • Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. If you’re not feeling well and we need to reschedule the day of, the charge will still apply, but I’ll happily find another time that works.
